The President's Day

Patton, President, National Farmers Union (Wrote the President early in September, stating there were a number of matters of national importance which he would like to discuss with the President soon.) 11:30 am The President received the first Purple Heart Viola, opening the local drive for the Order of the Purple Heart. Mrs. Claude Allen, President, local Chapter, & Sgt. Allen Mrs. Beatrice Donovan, National Senior Vice President of Ladies Auxiliary; Carole French, aged 3 (The President received the first viola last year in July. There will be no national drive as such, this year, and it will be left to each community to choose time they think best.
